Company Introduction

ALLGOOD are the brand and ideas people. We work with brave companies who want to challenge their market with award-winning creativity. And we want to change the world, well, one good project at a time anyway. We have a plan to become worldwide renowned branding experts. And we need a little bit of help getting there.

We’re a small but perfectly formed team ready to grow and make change. We have fun, we’re passionate, creative and often found playing games to break up our day. Our pub lunch brainstorm sessions go down a treat.

We work in beautiful surroundings in North Leeds, the atmosphere is relaxed but purposeful. Our recent graduate Vicki has mentioned nothing less than finding the perfect dream job. She says it’s an epic place to work.

Front End Website Designer

Job Description

We are looking for an amazing Front-End Web Designer / Developer to supercharge the digital side of our agency.

We create tons of websites as part of our branding work, they look beautiful and we’re now dedicated to making them even more beautiful, interactive and contemporary.  Your main role will be taking our branding work and translating that into a website for our clients. It will require you to take a set of brand guidelines, brand assets and a content platform, and then to design and build a complete website. You’ll be involved in briefing workshops where we set out the goals and vision for the websites, create sitemaps and take a full usability brief from the client.

It will be your responsibility to manage the web process from start to finish, helping to gather content, assets and amends. The responsibilities will include managing digital assets for the website projects, setting up server specs, FTP details, MySQL databases etc.

All our websites are built in WordPress using existing themes, mainly BeTheme and Salient. This would be your sole responsibility in regards to the development of our websites, we are definitely not after a developer to build a bespoke CMS system or to hand-code anything. We have found a solution that works perfectly for our clients, and WordPress themes are our chosen method. The main coding aspects of the role include tweaking the themes to fit with your designs, ensuring responsive elements are perfect and integrations with third-party applications such as Campaign Monitor, CRM systems and E-Commerce gateways etc.

We also do lots of content marketing, so you’ll help with uploading blogs, creating newsletters and updating social media channels. The role could also include building apps and editing videos, so a passion or previous experience of these is a fantastic bonus. We want someone who wows us with inspiration, ideas for doing things better and a passion for integrating our digital and branding work into something new and exciting for our clients.

Here are some recent websites we’ve designed and built using BeTheme:

The ability to design and develop modern and eye-catching websites.
Wordpress through and through.
Bespoking existing themes using:
HTML, PHP, CSS, Javascript and JQuery.
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
Understanding of responsive frameworks and cross browser development.
Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that websites will adhere to them.
