The Best Use of a Shop Window Postcard.

It is amazing what you can achieve with an A6 piece of card, a bit of Blu-Tack and buckets of imagination.

Armed with just those tools, The Drum’s readers have (quite literally) turned the humble shop window postcard into a work of art.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the creative industry’s most audacious awards scheme – The Chip Shop Awards, and to celebrate the milestone The Drum hosted a special exhibition paying homage to one of the Chip Shops’ most inventive categories – The Best Use of a Shop Window Postcard.

As well as showcasing some of the most ingenious Chip-winning postcards from the last decade, they wanted to commission 10 new ones to add to the hall of fame.

That’s where we came in.

We submitted 5 ideas to the competition, and one of our entries the idea ‘Gymnastics Classes’ was chosen as a winner.

Here’s our other 4 ideas
(that probably nearly won)
